Pathimukham is also known as SappnWood, East Indian red wood and bukkum wood tree. And in Malayalam, it is also known as Chappangam. It grows up to a height of 10 meters.It contains compound leaves. The branches of the tree contain thorns. The tree bears Yellow coloured and fragrant flowers.
